We can finally announce that our embedded positioning engine PATHFINDER emPE now fully supports the most modern expansion stage of the Chinese satellite system "BeiDou-3".
BeiDou is one of the most important satellite systems alongside GPS and Galileo and its integration is an important development step towards even more reliable and robust positioning.
The advantages of a multi-constellation positioning engine are primarily higher availability, better accuracy and higher integrity of the positioning solution.
This is particularly noticeable in heavily obstructed areas, such as cities or forests, where GNSS reception at the antenna is disturbed by obstacles.
