u-blox recognized for excellence for its LISA 3G cellular module by Korea’s Ministry of Science & ICT and SK Telecom

Korea’s New Media Prize is awarded to companies, people and products which have contributed significantly to the industrial development and strengthening of Korea’s national competitiveness in the IT and communication industries. The awards ceremony was held on November 14, 2013 at 12:00PM at The Plaza Hotel, 22nd floor, Diamond Hall in Seoul, Korea.
u-blox is in good company this year; other award recipients include LG, Samsung, Clarion and Siemens. The prize, now in its 25th year, is supported by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future planning, Seoul Economic Newspaper, and Korea’s largest mobile operator SK Telecom.
Additional features of the LISA-U200 module include data-rates of up to 21.1 Mb/s (downlink), a rich set of internet protocols, very small footprint, very low power consumption and extended operating temperature range. LISA modules provide fully integrated access to u-blox GPS/GNSS receivers. Antenna diversity permits LISA-U2 modules to provide the highest data speeds.
