The u-blox UBX-P3 family and VERA-P1 modules are based on the IEEE 802.11p wireless standard. Referred to as Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) in the US and Intelligent Transport System ITS-G5 in Europe, the technology is mature for the deployment of V2X systems.
