With COVID‑19 impacting people, countries, and business all over the world, we have decided to implement measures to ensure that we continue to support the needs of our global partners and customers. Maintaining and supporting business of our partners and customers remains top of mind and our highest priority, and we will continue to act with caution in light of the uncertainty COVID‑19 brings to our daily lives.
As of today, no u‑blox employee has tested positive with the coronavirus. To prevent an outbreak in any of our global offices, we have reiterated clear instructions to all our employees on how to handle the current situation. In addition to the preventive hygiene measures recommended by public health authorities and local governments, we have established specific temporary rules including a travel ban to and from currently critical areas such as China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Italy, self‑isolation in case visits from those regions since March 1, and favoring online meetings over face‑to‑face ones. We are prepared to working from home and have limited the access between teams. Furthermore we are in close contact with our production partners, and can confirm continued a smooth provision of components and services.
All our teams are able to continue working without interruption. Specifically, u‑blox R&D is currently not impacted and working at full capacity with no significant impact expected in the near future.
We will keep monitoring the situation closely to adjust to the latest developments and official instructions and will continue to communicate transparently to ensure that we are able to fulfil our commitments to our customers and partners
