To reinforce our EMEA sales team, we are looking for a dynamic and autonomous Key Account Manager Automotive in Germany. In this role you will have full responsibility for your key accounts, driving product and solutions selling of our broad u-blox portfolio. Working at the forefront of technology, you will focus on the development of direct key accounts Automotive.
You will be joining a motivated and knowledgeable Sales team who work closely together to achieve success and whose mission is to find the right solutions and create value for our customers. To be successful in this role, you should be passionate about solving customer challenges. You also bring a few years of sales experience in electronic industries with focus on the Automotive market and thrive in learning about new technologies like ADAS. The role is home-based anywhere in Germany. You will report directly to the Head of Key Accounts Automotive EMEA.
- Define & implement the sales strategy for assigned accounts, Automotive OEMs and globally operating Tier1s
- Work collaboratively across teams - including Sales Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing as well as global sales functions (Application Marketing, Service sales)
- Strong focus on developing assigned key accounts
- Drive the sales process through the entire cycle:
- Managing complex accounts
- Making technical and commercial proposals selling products and solutions
- Negotiating sales contracts
- Closing orders
- Provide organization with feedback on:
- Current and future requirements from the market
- Customer satisfaction
Your Skills and Experience
- Support MarCom activities like press releases, trade fairs
What are your perks?
- University degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Min. 5 years experience in sales of electronic products with focus in the Automotive industry
- Broad technical knowledge in one of the following technologies: positioning and/or Bluetooth / WiFi
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
- Excellent customer relationship manner on all hierarchical levels and the ability to handle difficult situations with diligence
- Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and disciplined
- Travel required (post-covid): 30% of work schedule mainly to customers in the assigned territory or to the HQs in Switzerland
- Excellent German and English skills
