Our brand new KickStart technology radically accelerates GPS acquisition performance at weak signal levels. GPS receivers with KickStart boast an ultra-fast Time-To-First-Fix, even when operating in difficult signal environments.

With standard GPS receivers, indoor locations and deep urban canyons can drastically hinder GPS acquisition performance, resulting in long waiting times for users. PDAs, mobile phones and other handheld devices, typically fitted with small antennas to keep the size of the device small, often leave users waiting without a position fix for long periods.

GPS receivers operating in environments where signals are attenuated by metallic coated windows such as those found in many cars, high-rise buildings in crowded city centers or other environments where signals are reflected or weakened, require special technology to ensure GPS operation. KickStart brings users ultra fast acquisition performance even in weak signal environments such as train stations, shopping malls and other covert locations.
