The UBX-G5000 GPS baseband chip boasts an acquisition performance of under 1 second. The chip features the award-winning SuperSense® -160 dBm indoor GPS sensitivity, low power needs and a tiny footprint. Moreover, the chip can be connected to an external Flash EPROM allowing for firmware upgrades and saving configuration settings. These features make the UBX-G5000 and its companion, the UBX-G0010 RF front end chip, ideal for cell phones, PDAs, personal navigation devices, cameras, media players and other battery-operated portable devices.
