25% smaller footprints in ANTARIS 4 chipsets combined with a shorter bill of material allow for 40% smaller modules.
ANTARIS 4 also enables fully self-contained GPS receivers, with or without Flash EPROM, integrated into LEA-sized 17 x 22.4 mm modules. Smaller modules allow for tighter system integration and thus, smaller end products. Footprint and module downsizing has opened a fresh path for OEMs to come up with new product ideas and market opportunities for the consumer and professional world.
