u-blox America Increases Sales Tenfold in Second Year

Herndon, Virginia, USA, August 26, 2002 - Thanks to a rapidly growing customer base, u-blox America increased 2002 year-to-date sales tenfold compared with the same period in 2001.

u-blox America, Inc., has been operational since summer 2001. Today, the US-subsidiary of Swiss based u-blox AG, a leader in GPS technology, is reporting rapid growth of its business.

u-blox America has built up a team with sales, technical support, and customer service based in Herndon, Virginia. Its customer base comprises today more than 70 companies in the USA and Canada, covering a wide range of applications such as automated vehicle location (AVL), asset tracking, personal and animal track-ing, satellite modems, marine and defense applications.
