u-blox announces appointment of new CEO

The Board of Management of the u-blox group has been complemented by the appointment of a full time CEO. Mr. Thomas Seiler has taken over this function as of March 18, 2002. He replaces Hans-Ulrich Müller, the delegate of the Board of Directors, who assumed the function as an interim executive director. Mr Thomas Seiler holds an MSc in mechanical Engineering of the Swiss Institute of Technoloigy in Zurich (ETH) and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Previously over the last 15 years Mr Seiler assumed duties as CEO of two industrial companies with global activities, one in the field of power supplies and the other in the instrumentation business. With this appointment the management team of u-blox will be strengthened on its way to further expand business on an international level.
