u-blox announces appointment of new European Area Sales Manager in the UK

Alastair Worth has been appointed European Area Sales Manager of u-blox Europe Ltd. on the 11th March 2002. He will succeed Nigel J. Carter, who will continue as the worldwide Director of Sales and Marketing within the u-blox Group. Worth will be managing the Regional Office in Maidstone, Kent. Alastair Worth's main focus will be on continuing u-blox' expansion strategy as well as providing customized services. Worth looks back on many years of experience in the GPS industry and is well acquainted with the European GPS Market. The appointment of a new European Area Sales Manager continues the expansion strategy of u-blox in line with expectations and sales growth.
