Thinkware chooses u-blox' GPS technology for its new iNAVI navigation system series Thalwil, Switzerland – June 18, 2009 – u-blox, a leading fabless provider of embedded positioning and wireless communications solutions, is pleased to announce that Thinkware, a leading Korean provider of portable navigation systems, has chosen u-blox’ GPS receiver chip for their recently launched navigation system series iNAVI. The first two models, GX and ES300, are already available on the Korean market. Thinkware chose u-blox’ cost-efficient UBX-G5010 single-chip GPS receiver thanks to its state-of-the art navigation performance, high jamming immunity, and low power consumption which ensures maximum GPS performance even in areas with weak signal coverage such as urban canyons and inside buildings.
