Mobile Crossing chose u-blox's latest GPS receivers for the WPX thanks to their combination of low-power consumption, high accuracy and exceptional indoor performance. All WPX rugged computers come standard with SuperSense®, the ultra-high sensitivity GPS technology from u-blox. The WPX is available immediately to system integrators and software developers as a GPS integrated platform.

Mobile Crossing also plans to release a consumer navigation system based on the WPX hardware in the coming months. As a result of the ruggedness, unique industrial design and integrated GPS technology, this personal navigation device is extremely versatile and appealing to outdoors sportsmen and fashion-conscious drivers alike.

"We are pleased to have selected u-blox for unsurpassed performance, reliability and features. We are honored to accept the 5 millionth u-blox GPS receiver shipped," said Mr. Hou.

"We are excited that Mobile Crossing has decided to use u-blox for its WayPoint X," said Mr. Papadopoulos. "Leaders such as Mobile Crossing are instrumental for u-blox's strategy to become the dominant GPS provider to the consumer navigation market."

Mr. Sage, Director at 3i Deutschland, added: "We are very impressed with u-blox's performance and how fast it has reached the five million receivers sold mark. We are very confident that u-blox will sustain this accelerated growth rate in the years to come."
