Software developers can now seamlessly access u-blox GPS technology using the newly introduced Sensor and Location Platform for Windows 7
Thalwil, Switzerland, September 15, 2009 â€“ u-blox, a leading provider of embedded GPS receiver semiconductors and solutions, is announcing its support of Microsoft Corp.â€™s initiative to make development of location-aware applications on Windows 7 hassle-free.
Through the release of u-bloxâ€™ driver supporting Microsoftâ€™s Sensor and Location API, software developers now have a standardized interface to the entire line of u-blox GPS chips and modules. The Sensor and Location platform for Windows 7 provides a simple way to access data from a wide range of external sensors.
