The acquisition significantly expands u-blox' existing line of 2G and 3G modems. CDMA2000 wireless modem functionality is a core element in fleet management, asset tracking, automotive safety applications, point-of-sales terminals, metering, vending and remote monitoring and control applications. It is also integrated into consumer products such as notebook, tablet computers, eReaders and navigation devices.
