Firmware Update

ANTARIS® Positioning Engine


Firmware update is supported on all ANTARIS products containing Flash EPROM as well as ANTARIS Evaluation Kits. The products include TIM-LF, TIM-LH, TIM-LL, TIM-LP, RCB-LJ, SAM-LS and ANTARIS Evaluation Kit AEK-LS-0 and ANTARIS SuperSense Evaluation Kit AEK-LS-2. Firmware images for standard GPS receivers are available on this web page. The downloadable file contains the firmware image, firmware update utility and release notes.

Instructions can be found in the TIM-Lx System Integration Manual.

ATTENTION:
After completing the installation, you will find the firmware in "C:\Program Files\u-blox\Firmware" unless you have specified a different path.

Disclaimer

Updating the Firmware of the GPS receivers temporarily erases the on-board Flash Memory. Therefore, any firmware update will erase saved user configurations and restore factory settings. If updating fails, your GPS receiver might become unusable. u-blox can not be held responsible for broken or damaged receivers due to a failed update procedure. Use the tools on this page at your own risk!
